Biography: Dr. Jakup Vrioni is a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with over 25 years of experience in dentistry and surgery. He has built a long career in clinical practice, hospital surgery, and university teaching, contributing to the professional education of new generations of dentists.
Qualifications: • Graduated in Dentistry from the University of Tirana (1998). • Specialized in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at QSUT “Nënë Tereza” (2004–2008). • International training in maxillofacial surgery, implantology, and periodontology in Italy, Germany, Ireland, Austria, and Israel. • Author and co-author of scientific publications in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Professional experience: • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at QSUT “Nënë Tereza”, Tirana, since 2008. • Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tirana, since 2006. • Surgeon at New Dent Dental Clinic since 2003. • Extensive experience in the surgical treatment of oral and maxillofacial conditions and in continuing professional education.

Biography: Dr. Erion Shehu is a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics, with a career combining clinical practice, university teaching, and scientific work. With around 25 years of professional experience, he has been involved in surgical treatment, the development of contemporary methods, and the academic education of dental professionals.
Qualifications: • Graduated in Dentistry from the University of Tirana (2001). • Specialized in Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Medicine, Tirana (2011–2015). • Specialized in Orthodontics at ALDENT University (2014–2018). • Involved in scientific research and publications in oral and maxillofacial surgery and implantology. • PhD candidate at La Sapienza University, Rome.
Professional experience: • Lecturer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at ALDENT University, Tirana, since 2016. • Responsible for Oral Surgery and Implantology in the specialization program at ALDENT. • Former Head of the Department of Dentistry at REALD University College. • Extensive clinical experience in private clinics and healthcare institutions. • International academic work, including serving as an honorary lecturer at UCAM in Spain.
